Starting your own page in HTML is quite simple. The first thing you need to do is open a text-editor, such as Notepad. This can be found in the Accessories section of the All Programs part of the Start menu.
The next thing you do is type in the HTML tags and the words that you want to appear on your page. Here is a very simple example:
The next thing you need to do is save the file, remembering to put .html or .htm on the end of the filename.
The final stage is to find the file you've just created and double-click the icon! Your page should then appear.
